My name is Urs Karkoschka, and I'm passionate about developing people and organizations. I help unlock each individual's full potential so we can achieve more together.
I was born in 1965 in Stuttgart into a large family as the fourth child. Today, I live with my wife in Eimeldingen, near the Swiss and French borders. Our first daughter works in HR at an international company in Switzerland, and my younger daughter is studying psychology. My motto in life: Working together with others to realize our full potential, be curious, and be happy!
My journey began in Stuttgart-Hohenheim, where I studied economics, graduating with the third-best grade. I was the first business economist to earn a doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology under Prof. Schuler—a journey that deepened my interest in the human side of management. A one-year stay abroad in Boulder, Colorado, broadened my global perspective. Over 30 years of international experience, I've gained experience: global HR projects in London, HR Business Partner in R&D, Production, and Marketing, Sales, and Head of Cultural Development in multinational corporations. In 2024, I founded Karkoschka Consulting to empower companies and people to realize their potential and achieve sustained success. My mission: to turn visions into reality.
I can inspire people and encourage them to work on their own development. Even as a young ski instructor, I learned how to quickly build trust and push people to exceed their own expectations. Today, I use this skill to empower leaders and teams to push their boundaries and achieve sustainable results.
